new Mew
CJ just wrote a post about Mew. Since he’s a bigger Mew fan than I am, he gave me this song:
Mew – Apocalypso [removed]
Doesn’t quite grab me as much as their songs from Frengers but it sounds like Mew, which means it’s awesome. I love Mew but I’m rather lazy as to finding out what they’re up to since they’re usually not in the US except when they’re RECORDING STUFF HERE. I think we need to start a petition to get them to come back. Cos. They. Should.

I picked up ‘Frengers’ for a $1 from a bargain bin(here in Canada). I remember quite liking it at times. I’ll have to give it a more thorough listen. A shame how good band can go unnoticed.

I love the new track! Very… different. Sounds “darker” and louder.

I’ve known about Mew for about a year now and got hold of Frengers and thought it was amazing and so original. I persuaded my friend to buy it too and when I listened to his version it was different – strange! I guess they must of re-recorded it! Anyways, the new track sounds very promising and exciting – hope the rest of the album is just as good!
