we had planned to go see the lips on saturday, but a friend was playing in brooklyn so we went to her show instead. it’s been too long since i’ve seen the lips. the best was prospect park several summers ago: the rain held out until the very end of their set, then came pouring down like crazy while we all ran for cover. i’ve long thought that wayne must exert some sort of magnetic energy that prevents george bush from sending the globe off on some out-of-orbit collision course with another planet. i’m glad you posted so many pictures.
